ARKAS SPORTS

SWIMMING

HISTORY

The Arkas Sports Club Swimming Branch, which opened on 1 January 2007, continues to provide both basic instruction and competition level training.  What began with 21 students and three trainers has now developed to the point where there are 140 students, 70 competitive athletes and 9 trainers. In the beginning, swimming lessons were only given on the weekend during the winter but over time, these were divided into two groups – 3 days during the week and 2 on the weekend. During the summer, on the other hand, the swimming lessons continue for 3 days during the week.
