After the success of the blue-and-white jerseys on the A team, the youth team also won the Turkish Championship, making fans in Izmir very proud of the team. Arkas is keeping volleyball fever alive in Izmir. The blue-and-white jerseys achieved a satisfying victory by defeating Ankara SSK 3-1 at the Young Men's Turkish Championship held in Düzce. Izmir has already experienced the pride of Arkas' first championship in the Men's Volleyball 1st League and now the success of the youth team has made the city even happier.

Şükrü Yengil, Supervisor of Player Training, stated that they were even more elated because the champion youth team placed 9 players on the National Team at once, adding, "Arkas forms the basis of the national team. Göktuğ, Kadir, Anıl, Ceyhun, Murat, Cenk, Emin, Hakan and Celil will be suiting up both for the young men's team and the national team. Our next goal is the All-Star Men's Turkish Championship."
