Munoz has coached the Spanish teams Guadalajara (two years), Unicaja Almeria (five years) and Malaga as well as the Italian team Cosenz. He has worked for the Spanish All-star, Youth and A-Level National teams and has won four league titles and two super cup titles in Spain, won the Spanish Copa del Rey twice and placed third in the European Top Teams Cup.
